Order Fulfillment Specialist - HIRING March 2024

  • Full Time position on site position
  • Wage: Starts @ $20.00 per hour + benefits (see below)
  • Weekdays 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (rare weekend shift if crunch times)

We are hiring for our e-commerce fulfillment specialist position to help us get all the rad product we make to all the rad stores who stock it. We need a hustler with friendly verbal and written communication skills to help our customers and team members

What does an Order Fulfillment Specialist do?

  • Process and QC monitor inbound retail and wholesale orders.  (mostly automated)
  • Light purchasing:  ordering packing and fulfillment related supplies
  • Inventory reporting and control
  • High-level communication, high-quality sales support -  routing incoming leads + customer service. 

  • Your main objective is to get orders right, and out the door on time. When not dominating the tape guns, you'll also field incoming phone and email requests from our sales team and QC the data on new customer PO's as they come in. Badge Bomb is a modern multi-channel business with multiple wholesale and retail order feeds. You'll work with our production team (most products are manufactured on-site) and sales team in areas that intersect with order fulfillment. You need to be strong with a computer, and comfortable navigating a modern multi tool e-commerce stack built around Shopify.

    You’ll provide support and updates on warehouse happenings to our Director of Sales, Sales & Marketing Coordinator, and team of remote sales reps. Being a small company, we all juggle. This is a team-oriented environment, but you will need independent problem-solving skills to own your corner of the fort.

    What are the job duties?

  • Verify order accuracy for all shipments inbound and outbound
  • Plan your work to ship orders on or before their promised dates. 
  • Oversee all picking, ticketing, packaging, and related inventory preparation duties to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers about their orders via phone and email
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Candidates with the following creative skills get preferential screening. 

    • Ability to help on our production line (see press operator post)
    • Product photography skills.
    • Adobe CS experience. 

    Skills needed:

    • Solid administrative computer skills (Gmail, Docs, Sheets (XLS), etc).
    • Relevant E-Commerce and Shopify experience.
    • Inventory management experience.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workload sometimes requiring short turnaround times and self solving problems.
    • Communication and social grace are very important. 

    Work Conditions and Hours

    Schedule 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and occasional weekend day.

    • Material handling / physical activity; Requires handling of average-weight packages up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel, up to 8 hours a day.
    • Modern cross-platform office communication (Phone, Slack, e-mail). 
    • Thrive and adapt in a fast paced, changing warehouse environment.

    Compensation package

    • Pay range: $20 hour commensurate with experience
